A key focus of the ICA 4.3 is reducing energy consumption. Under full-load operation, the ICA 4.3 has an electrical power consumption of just 417 watts – 10.7% lower than the 467 watts measured for an ICA 1 manufactured in 2003. In addition, the documented improvement in energy efficiency can provide a basis for the individual assessment of eligibility for potential government funding programmes as part of future investment projects.

“With the ICA 4.3, we combine resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness with a high level of serviceability. The enhanced machine architecture reduces power consumption, simplifies maintenance and helps our customers make their production processes more efficient in the long term,” says Mesut Akbulut, Chief Sales Officer at Poly-clip System.

The new drive and control architecture also contributes to greater operational efficiency. The integrated One Cable Technology (OCT) reduces cabling requirements and simplifies the overall system architecture. By integrating multiple functions, it also lowers the number of components required. This streamlined system design reduces technical complexity and makes servicing and maintenance significantly easier.

At the same time, increased torque and a reinforced conveyor belt expand the ICA 4.3’s range of applications, making the machine suitable for larger product formats and higher product weights. The harmonised drive architecture supports stable production processes and a high level of process reliability.

The ICA 4.3 has also been designed with hygiene in mind to meet the demands of food production. A smooth-surfaced servo motor facilitates cleaning in hygiene-sensitive production environments. As the motor and gearbox are structurally separated, individual components can be replaced quickly and efficiently during servicing or maintenance. The PC300 control system with its modern touchscreen interface ensures intuitive operation and easy machine parameterisation, while the clear user interface supports faster operator training and greater ease of use.

With an input voltage range of 200 to 480 volts, the ICA 4.3 can be deployed in a wide range of international production environments, reducing the need for market-specific variants. Standardised hardware and software modules, together with harmonised interfaces, simplify servicing, facilitate integration into existing IT systems and support future machine upgrades.

The ICA 4.3 is part of Poly-clip System’s Green Series. With this product line, the company brings together machine developments that contribute to more sustainable food production by reducing energy and resource consumption. The combination of low power consumption, service-friendly design and modern control technology helps food manufacturers reduce operating costs and make their production processes more efficient and future-proof in the long term.
