MPL - Hygienic stainless steel design for efficient pouch packaging of poultry

Bags from the stack or chain/shrink bags can be processed. Optionally, barges (horns) in different sizes are available, offering the highest possible flexibility, adapted to bags and poultry. Coupled with a compact stainless steel design, this ensures fast and smooth operation at up to 15 packs per minute per clip station.

The MPL is pneumatically operated and is characterised by its simple operation. The bag is automatically inflated and the chutes move into the bag to stop it. The poultry is manually pushed through the opened chutes into the bag until it breaks off. After that, the chutes move back to open the next bag. The filled bag is securely closed by means of a single-clip machine and, if necessary, placed in an appropriate outer packaging.

Short set-up times, hygienic design and easy maintenance

Thanks to short set-up times for product and bag changes, the MPL offers maximum flexibility for efficient packaging of a wide range of product sizes. Polyethylene, vacuum and shrink bags are suitable. The hygienic design made of stainless steel for easy cleaning and splash-proof controls ensure strict compliance with hygiene regulations.

Equipment options

The MPL can be equipped with right and left hand arms (hocking station) for mounting up to two single clip machines of the Easy Clip Line® and can be completed with waste bag holders for bag plaits. Optionally available is an underframe in which a pneumatic chain bag feed can be integrated for processing chain bags. For product and origin identification and batch tracing, each clip machine can be equipped with the optional EZ Tag-Feeder labelling system. The corresponding label is automatically attached to the bag in a tamper-proof manner using the clip closure. The Manual Poultry Bagger MPL (Bagger), combined with single clip machines of the Easy Clip Line®, is ideally suited for the efficient packaging of whole poultry and poultry parts in bags.
